He later used this to blame us for being incapable, but the boat was advertised as beginner-friendly with no license required. The owner came to help us return, which we appreciated. Even he had trouble managing the boat and scraped another vessel while docking, reinforcing how difficult the conditions were.
He initially offered a refund but later refused and became hostile when we followed up. We were also threatened with legal action for leaving a negative review.
While we appreciated the initial assistance, the experience left us shaken and disappointed. This may not be the right rental for those without/ minimal boating experience or when sea conditions are unpredictable.
