    The marina was experiencing unusual flooding in October, but not the charter companies fault. Check in and check out were very straightforward. The yacht was great apart from a dodgy battery but we had a work around. Base support was very good. I would charter with them again.

The Dingy and 2,5 HP Mercury 2-stroke outboarder were rather outdated, not worth the extra money and leaking air and gas. We could notä use it unless we took the inflator with us. Split is a very nice City and starting point to explore the Islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula, etc.. The ACI Marina unfortunately is very narrow, busy and completely overwhelmed by Charter boats. It took us 2 hours and some arguments at the fuel station to fill up the tank on Friday afternoon (in June). Especially in stronger winds it can be difficult to return the boats into the very narrow channels to the box. I would not recommend Split ACI for beginners. Overall we spent a great vacation in ecellent sailing conditions with up to 40 knots of wind.
